meet the speech therapist

Dr. Sharita Williams-Crossen is an ASHA-certified and North Carolina licensed Speech-Language Pathologist with more than 25+ years of experience supporting children and families. She is passionate about helping children build the communication skills they need to thrive at home, in school, and in their communities.


Dr. Williams-Crossen earned her Bachelor of Arts in Speech-Language Pathology from North Carolina A&T State University, her Master of Education in Communication Disorders from North Carolina Central University, and her doctorate in Child, Youth, and Family Studies from Nova Southeastern University. 


Throughout her career, she has worked with children across a variety of settings and has extensive experience addressing speech, language, social communication, fluency, and other communication challenges. Her approach is family-centered, collaborative, and focused on helping each child reach their full potential.


When she's not working with children and families, Dr. Williams-Crossen enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, and shopping.
